About the Role
We're looking for a Shopify Developer who can build, customize, and optimize e-commerce storefronts for our D2C and B2B clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Shopify theme development and is familiar with checkout optimization tools like GoKwik, along with WhatsApp commerce platforms like Interakt.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS)
- Build and modify Shopify apps/plugins as per client requirements
- Integrate and configure GoKwik for checkout optimization, RTO reduction, and COD-to-prepaid conversion
- Integrate and configure Interakt for WhatsApp catalog, cart recovery, and order notifications
- Optimize site speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals
- Set up and troubleshoot payment gateways, shipping integrations, and inventory sync
- Implement custom features using Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API)
- Debug issues related to checkout drop-offs, cart abandonment, and app conflicts
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams on landing pages and product pages
- Maintain documentation of customizations and integrations for client handover
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience with Shopify theme development (custom or Online Store 2.0)
- Working knowledge of GoKwik integration and dashboard configuration
- Working knowledge of Interakt or similar WhatsApp commerce/CRM tools
- Familiarity with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and Webhooks
- Understanding of e-commerce checkout flows, RTO/COD challenges, and conversion optimization
- Experience with Git
- Basic understanding of SEO for Shopify store.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gulmohar Colony, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
