We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts.
- Review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Support tax preparation and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and audit support.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
