Must have a sound working knowledge in control systems
Knowledge and experience in Part, Die & Mould machining is essential.
Experience of Manual and CAM programming is essential.
Proto part development experience would be preferred.
Proven experience of working with fairly high tolerance components.
Inspect the finished components using a variety of inspection equipment and be able to identify solutions to ensure the best quality product.
Generate and edit component programs using offline software.
Able to select and recommend the correct tooling to achieve the most efficient machining method.
Sound knowledge in Geometrical Dimensioning and tolerancing
General housekeeping of machine and area of work, TPM practice will be preferable.
