Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks and physicochemical/microbiological testing of raw materials, WIP and finished products to ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal quality standards.
- Monitor critical production processes including milk reception, pasteurization, packaging, temperature controls, hygiene practices and CCP verification as per HACCP requirements.
- Maintain quality records, batch documentation, test reports, deviation reports and ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO and FSSC 22000 documentation requirements.
- Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials, coordinate with suppliers on quality issues and ensure compliance with established specifications.
- Monitor plant sanitation, GMP, GHP and food safety practices, and support internal and external audits conducted by regulatory and certification bodies.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Procurement teams to maintain product quality standards and provide training to employees on quality, hygiene, and food safety practices.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Food Technology, Food Processing, Dairy Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the dairy/food industry.
- HACCP Internal Auditor certification and knowledge of ISO/FSSC 22000 standards preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and FSSAI regulations.
- Proficiency in quality testing methods, laboratory equipment operation and interpretation of analytical results.
- Strong documentation, audit coordination and compliance management skills. Effective communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to conduct investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and process performance.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
