Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, inventory accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting in our jewellery manufacturing unit. The candidate should have experience in accounting software, inventory reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
- Prepare vouchers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Monitor cash and bank transactions.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
- Maintain records of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewellery inventory.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Track metal issues, receipts, recovery, and wastage.
- Maintain job work and karigar accounts.
- Assist in product costing and inventory valuation.
GST & Compliance
- Prepare GST working and support return filing.
- Reconcile GST input and output tax.
- Handle TDS entries and reconciliations.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
MIS Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Generate inventory, production, and accounting reports.
- Support management with financial data and analysis.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com
- Knowledge of Tally ERP, Busy,Prime software, or Jewellery ERP Software(Gati).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
