We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with domain expertise in Loans & Disbursements within the banking or financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end business requirements, ensuring alignment with lending workflows, and supporting delivery of high-quality solutions.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on experience in requirement documentation, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Develop a strong understanding of existing loan management and disbursement systems

Take full ownership of requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business and regulatory needs

Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and prepare detailed System Requirement Specifications (SRS)

Validate project deliverables against business requirements prior to demos and releases

Participate in requirement prioritization, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and estimations

Handle defect analysis, root cause discussions, and Change Requests

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business processes related to loan origination, approval, and disbursement

Create and manage User Stories in JIRA, including story pointing and task breakdown

Track progress, updates, and blockers in JIRA to ensure timely delivery

Share daily/weekly status updates, risks, and action items with stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services

Strong domain experience in Loans, Lending Systems, and Disbursement processes

Good understanding of loan lifecycle (origination, underwriting, approval, disbursement, repayment)

Expertise in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation

Experience in validating functional deliverables against business requirements

Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog and sprint management

Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills

Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
