Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliance, payroll processing, taxation, and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations independently while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
- Freshers are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates from Ernakulam are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, journals, ledgers, and cash/bank transactions.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
- Conduct Ledger Reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including:
- GST Returns
- ESI Returns
- PF Returns
- TDS compliance and other applicable statutory filings
- Process employee payroll accurately and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.
- Handle WPS (Wage Protection System) processing and salary transfers wherever applicable.
- Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and vendor payments.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, and payment vouchers.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with banks, government departments, auditors, and consultants as required.
Salary
- Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
