Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join our senior secondary school. The ideal candidate should be able to teach Geography to Classes XI and XII, inspire students through engaging lessons, and help them achieve academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Teach Geography to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
- Evaluate students' progress and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.
- Integrate maps, GIS tools, presentations, and other teaching aids into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and faculty development programs.
- Maintain discipline and accurate academic records.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Geography (M.A./M.Sc. Geography).
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school (freshers with excellent subject knowledge may also apply).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English and educational technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching CBSE Class XII Board students.
- Knowledge of GIS, digital maps, and smart classroom tools.
- Ability to conduct practical and project-based learning activities.
