Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design of HVAC systems, including heat load calculations, system selection, duct and piping layout, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heat load calculations using tools
- Design ductwork and piping layouts for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and material submittals.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment
- Create and review HVAC drawings using AutoCAD / Revit MEP.
- Coordinate with architecture, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams.
- Support tender documentation, bid evaluations, and vendor selections.
- Conduct site visits for inspections, testing & commissioning support.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and client review.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience in HVAC system design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software like HAP.
- Good understanding of mechanical standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
