We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in Siemens CNC control systems. The candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for machining operations while ensuring quality, productivity, and machine efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC programs using Siemens CNC controllers.
- Develop programs for CNC Milling and Turning machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Optimize machining processes to improve cycle time and productivity.
- Select cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for efficient machining.
- Perform program prove-out and first-piece inspection.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Maintain program documentation and process sheets.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of CNC Programming experience.
- Mandatory experience with Siemens CNC controls (Sinumerik 828D/840D preferred).
- Strong knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Experience in CNC Milling and Turning operations.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
