We are seeking a diligent and experienced Wrap Round (Tray Packer) Operator to join our manufacturing team in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wrap-around tray packing machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality packaging of products. This role requires a strong understanding of packaging processes, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Operate and monitor the wrap-around tray packing machine according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.
- Load packaging materials, such as cartons, film, and products, accurately and efficiently into the machine.
- Perform regular quality checks on packaged products, including seal integrity, correct labeling, and overall package appearance, ensuring they meet specified standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues or production faults on the tray packer, performing basic adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on the machine to ensure its longevity and hygienic operation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, food safety guidelines (if applicable), and hygiene standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Record production data, machine downtime, and material usage accurately for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with production supervisors, maintenance technicians, and other team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges.
- Assist in changeovers and setups for different product sizes or packaging configurations.
- Report any major mechanical failures, quality deviations, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.
