We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal AutoCAD Designer with experience in Aluminium Formwork Systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing proposal drawings, quantity estimations, and preliminary formwork layouts based on architectural and structural drawings. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD knowledge and an understanding of aluminium formwork design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare proposal drawings and layouts for aluminium formwork projects using AutoCAD.
- Study and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Develop preliminary formwork plans, elevations, sections, and typical details.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and material estimations for proposals.
- Coordinate with the sales, estimation, and technical teams for project requirements.
- Ensure proposal drawings comply with project specifications and company standards.
- Revise drawings based on client comments and internal reviews.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Support the business development team by providing technical inputs during the proposal stage.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Aluminium Formwork Design/Proposal Preparation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of aluminium formwork systems and components.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction practices and formwork methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of formwork systems such as Mivan or other aluminium formwork solutions.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and other drafting tools.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
