At VDA, the Site Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all site activities are executed with precision, discipline, and accountability. The position focuses on maintaining VDA’s standards of quality, timely execution, and structured coordination between design and execution teams for commercial and residential interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily activities on-site.
2. Make sure the work follows the schedule and quality standards.
3. Identify issues on-site and coordinate with the designer to resolve them. Sometimes, make certain decisions on-site based on the requirements where no further decisions are needed.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to keep the project moving.
5. Ensure all work matches the design plans and is safe to carry out.
6. Keep track of work progress by periodically measuring ongoing tasks and reporting any delays or problems.
7. Manage materials and equipment on site and ensure everything is organized.
8. Enforce safety rules on-site to keep the team safe.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 12th or Graduate with 3-5 years of experience mainly in Interior work
2. Civil Engineer with 2-3 Years of experience mainly in Interior work.
3. Good leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to solve problems and manage time well.
5. Knowledge of safety rules and site management.
6. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
