Estimation Engineer
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analyzing tender documents, evaluating vendor quotations, and coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with project requirements. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, analytical skills, and market knowledge in construction materials and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and design inputs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
- Analyze and validate design changes and their cost implications.
Tendering & Bidding
- Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare tender pricing and bid submissions within deadlines.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure compliance with project scope.
Rate Analysis
- Perform rate analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain updated cost databases and benchmarking for future projects.
Coordination & Review
- Work closely with Project Managers, Procurement, and Design Teams for cost optimization.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to achieve the most cost-effective solutions.
- Review subcontractor bills and verify quantities as per site progress.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare cost comparison statements and budget reports for management.
- Track project cost performance and support management with variance analysis.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
