Job Summary:
We are hiring a Backend Executive to manage data-driven operational tasks with accounting exposure (20–30%). The role focuses on reporting, data management, and client coordination, while supporting basic accounting processes within Firmway’s software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Extract relevant data from the system and share accurate reports with clients in a timely manner
- Handle large volumes of data entry, validation, and formatting
- Generate summary reports and insights for internal teams and clients
- Coordinate with clients for data collection and sharing reports
- Work on Firmway’s platform for data processing and report generation
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as:
- Data reconciliation (AP/AR support)
- Ledger review and mismatch identification
- Supporting transaction-level data checks
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to relevant teams
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com graduate (recent graduates preferred)
- 0–6 months experience (freshers can apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (approx. 15–20% role requirement)
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (data handling, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage repetitive and data-intensive tasks
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or similar)
- Basic analytical and reporting skills
- Comfortable working with structured processes and deadlines
