Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in the US Freight Brokerage industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Negotiation: Expert-level ability to "close deals" under pressure and handle heavy price
negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance
Mentor and supervise a team of Freight Brokers and Logistics Coordinators to achieve daily
load matching and margin targets.
Monitor KPIs, including daily call volumes, load counts, and gross profit per load.
Conduct regular floor briefings to align the team on market trends and daily priorities.
2. Operations & Market Strategy
Manage Spot and Contract freight markets, utilizing data and industry insights to negotiate
competitive rates.
Sourcing and securing reliable carriers for complex lanes (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, LTL).
Oversee the full shipment lifecycle: from lead generation and quoting to dispatch and realtime
tracking.
3. Quality & Compliance
Ensure the team maintains accurate records in the TMS (Transportation Management
System) and CRM.
Enforce company Floor Policies, including strict professional conduct, confidentiality, and
attendance standards.
Resolve escalated transportation emergencies, claims, or carrier disputes with a solutionoriented
approach.
4. Business Development
Maintain and grow a personal and team "book of business."
Promote comprehensive services including drayage, transloading, and warehousing to
existing and new clients.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
