Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Telecaller / Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, experience in handling CRM systems, lead management, reporting, and student counselling. The role involves interacting with prospective students, converting leads into admissions, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Explain courses, career opportunities, fees, and admission procedures effectively.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Maintain and update lead information in CRM software.
- Track enquiry status, follow-ups, and conversion activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on leads, admissions, and follow-up activities.
- Ensure timely updating of student records and communication logs.
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams for lead nurturing and conversion.
- Meet admission and counselling targets set by the management.
- Handle student queries and provide accurate information regarding courses and career pathways.
- Maintain professional relationships with students and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam (Hindi is an added advantage).
- Experience in telecalling, counselling, customer support, or sales preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software and lead management systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to prepare and maintain daily MIS reports.
- Strong follow-up and persuasion skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of admissions, education, or training industry preferred.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Telecalling, Academic Counselling, Admissions, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, LeadSquared, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
