We are seeking a motivated and experienced Merchant to join our team at Manvi Impex, a leading garment export house. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the garment export industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing the end-to-end process of garment production and export.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire garment production process from initial concept to final shipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Corporate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to coordinate production schedules, material sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Conduct regular quality inspections at various stages of production to maintain high-quality standards and resolve any issues or defects.
- Communicate effectively with international clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on order status, and address any concerns or queries.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements for timely delivery of finished goods to clients worldwide.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability within the garment export division.
