Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile daily sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist in preparing and verifying financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reconciling stock records with sales data.
- Provide support during audits by gathering relevant financial documents and assisting auditors as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
