Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels, MCC panels, PLC panels, and distribution boards.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop bill of materials (BOM) for panel components.
- Ensure designs comply with electrical standards (IEC, NEC, or local codes).
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on project requirements.
- Support installation and troubleshooting by providing technical drawings.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of designs.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of electrical components (relays, contactors, PLCs, VFDs)
- Understanding of panel wiring and circuit design
- Familiarity with standards like IEC, NEC
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawing
