Position Title: Senior Associate – Housekeeping

Reporting To: Executive Housekeeper
Job Purpose
The Senior Associate – Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms, public areas, and assigned sections of the property. The role also involves guiding junior associates, ensuring adherence to housekeeping standards, and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities : Room & Area Maintenance
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas as per company standards.
- Ensure all rooms are properly prepared before guest arrivals.
- Replenish guest amenities, linen, towels, and room supplies.
- Report maintenance defects, damages, and unusual observations promptly.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is maintained and used properly.
Supervision & Support
- Assist in monitoring the work of Housekeeping Associates and Room Attendants.
- Provide guidance and support to new team members.
- Ensure departmental SOPs and service standards are followed consistently.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding room status and operational requirements.
Guest Service
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Assist in handling guest concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain professional interaction with guests at all times.
- Ensure guest privacy, safety, and security are always respected.
Quality & Hygiene Standards
- Conduct self-inspections of assigned areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitization, and hygiene procedures.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Inventory & Linen Management
- Maintain proper control of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials.
- Report shortages, damages, or stock requirements to the supervisor.
- Assist in periodic inventory checks and stock verification activities.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete assigned checklists and housekeeping records accurately.
- Update room status information as required.
- Report lost-and-found items in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary Education / Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Experience in luxury hospitality operations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to train and guide junior associates.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The Senior Associate – Housekeeping plays a key role in maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and overall guest experience that reflects the service standards of CGH Earth Experience.
Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
