As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving vendor expansion and managing relationships for our contract staffing division. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing vendors across India who can supply skilled professionals on short notice to meet client requirements. This role requires strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management skills, along with a solid understanding of contractual hiring and manpower supply operations.
You will be working as an Account Manager, closely collaborating with internal Talent Acquisition teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure an effective and timely supply of qualified candidates. You would be required to participate in vendor discussions, client alignment meetings, and performance review sessions.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
- Vendor Expansion: Identify, onboard, and develop new staffing vendors or agencies across India with strong capabilities in contract and temporary hiring.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing vendors to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidate profiles.
- Negotiation & Rate Management: Negotiate hourly, daily, or monthly billing rates with vendors, ensuring profitability, competitiveness, and policy compliance.
- Database Development: Build and maintain a comprehensive vendor database, including capability segmentation by skill set, location, turnaround time, and success rate.
- Coordination with TA Team: Collaborate with the internal Talent Acquisition team to align vendor submissions with client requirements and hiring priorities.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate vendor performance metrics such as responsiveness, profile quality, conversion ratio, and turnaround time.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all vendor agreements, NDAs, and rate cards are properly executed, tracked, and updated in line with company standards.
- Market Mapping: Conduct continuous market research to identify new staffing partners, emerging talent vendors, and niche skill suppliers across regions.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to the overall vendor engagement strategy and suggest process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
