Introduction

CATTS is currently recruiting for Senior Trade Analysts to join an exciting customs team in Jaipur, India. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are seeking longevity in their next position as they will get involved in a variety of global trade management focused work.

Reporting to the operations manager, your initial task will be to complete and file customs entries for our clients. Working closely with the operations manager and other analysts, as an extension of our clients’ organization, the intention is to ensure all shipments are declared in compliance and as per our client’s established applications, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Trade Analyst you will be responsible for:

Accurately prepare import and export entries following customer instructions. Submit customs declarations in the customs system or send detailed instructions to customs brokers as needed.
Collaborating with Customs Broker to provide clear instructions and fulfill customer requirements on time.
Collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to trade operations.
Actively monitor and respond to emails and messages. Escalate any client-related issues in a timely manner to provide fast, effective resolutions.
Attending and actively contributing to team meetings, sharing relevant updates and insights to support team objectives. Participate in client meetings as needed, representing our team professionally and ensuring client expectations are clearly understood and addressed.
Ensure full compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and standards related to Trade Compliance and International Trade.
Utilizing trade management software and tools to track shipments and manage compliance.
Collecting and preparing KPIs and metrics for the process executed.
Correct and compliant use of Odoo tool (attendance, time registration, any other).
Support for Team leader on client communication and reporting.

Requirements

General knowledge of Customs and International Trade.
3-6 years of experience in Import and Export processes.
Proven knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Excel is a must, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills to convey ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse audiences.
Continuous Improvement: A proactive mindset to identify and implement enhancements in processes and practices.
Adherence to all policies, procedures, standards and obligations regarding the Quality Management System.
