We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing user-friendly, visually appealing, and engaging digital experiences for websites and web applications.
You will work closely with senior designers, developers, and project managers to create intuitive user interfaces and improve the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating user-friendly and visually appealing website and application designs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Conduct basic research to understand user needs and business requirements.
- Collaborate with senior designers and developers throughout the design process.
- Help maintain and follow design systems and brand guidelines.
- Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Prepare design assets and specifications for development teams.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Identify usability issues and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design.
- Basic knowledge of typography, colour theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to accept feedback and improve designs.
- A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is an advantage but not required.
- Previous internship, freelance work, or personal UI/UX projects will be considered a plus.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
