Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth in the IEPF Shares Recovery and related legal
services domain. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client consultation,
proposal closure, and coordination with internal legal and compliance teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
2. Identify potential clients with unclaimed shares/dividends transferred to IEPF.
3. Generate leads through referrals, databases, market research, RTAs, and legacy
shareholder records.
4. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and client meetings to explain recovery services.
5. Client Consultation & Sales Closure
6. Understand client requirements, inheritance issues, and documentation status.
7. Educate clients on the IEPF recovery process, timelines, and regulatory framework.
8. Prepare proposals, explain fee structures, and close agreements.
9. Internal Coordination
10. Coordinate with legal, documentation, research, and compliance team post-closure.
11. Ensure smooth case handover and track progress milestones.
12. Compliance & Process Awareness
13. Maintain updated knowledge of IEPF rules, SEBI guidelines, RTA processes, and
succession laws.
14. Ensure all client engagements adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain accurate CRM data, lead pipeline, conversions, and revenue reports. Share weekly/monthly MIS with management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Any Bachelor’s / Master’s degree.
2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (legal/financial services preferred).
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
4. Working knowledge of IEPF, demat, shares recovery, succession, or capital markets
is a strong advantage.
5. Ability to manage multiple clients and timelines effectively.
Preferred Experience
1. Experience in IEPF claims, share recovery, demat services, legal consulting, or wealth
advisory.
2. Exposure to working with RTAs, SEBI regulations, or inheritance-related cases.
