Job Summary:
We are hiring a South Indian Cook / Chef for our new South Indian QSR Madam Madras in Jaipur. We are looking for someone who can prepare tasty and consistent South Indian food and work well in a fast-paced kitchen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, chutneys, and other menu items
- Maintain taste, quality, and presentation of food
- Follow hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Manage food preparation on time during busy hours
- Check stock and inform the team when ingredients are low
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and support smooth operations
- Reduce food waste and handle ingredients carefully
Requirements:
- Experience in South Indian cooking
- Must know how to prepare dosa batter, sambhar, chutneys, and other basic South Indian items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Experience in restaurant, café, or QSR kitchen is preferred
Salary:
Salary will depend on experience and skills
