Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Provide hands on analysis and support for Mainframe programs and components, including JCL, COBOL, IMS, DB2, IMS-DB, CICS , queries, batch jobs, CA7, PCS, Xpeditor, Endevour and mandatory IMS DB experience
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing, coding, and debugging complex software components.
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with mainframe environments and tools used for software development and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software design and implementation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
