Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for each NextGen Group business.
Manage the annual marketing calendar, budgets, campaigns and growth priorities.
Lead SEO, website optimisation, content marketing and organic lead generation.
Plan and oversee blogs, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, case studies and marketing collateral.
Coordinate video production, including concepts, scripts, filming, editing and distribution.
Manage Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other paid advertising campaigns.
Improve campaign performance, lead quality, cost per lead and return on advertising spend.
Lead and coach the sales team handling cold calling, lead qualification and initial customer enquiries.
Establish scripts, follow-up processes, call standards and conversion targets.
Ensure warm leads are contacted promptly, accurately recorded and progressed through the sales pipeline.
Maintain CRM discipline, lead ownership, follow-up schedules and pipeline visibility.
Develop sales presentations, proposals, product messaging and campaign offers.
Monitor conversion rates from lead to appointment, proposal and customer.
Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistent communication across all group businesses.
Conduct market, competitor and customer research to identify new growth opportunities.
Work closely with business heads, product teams and senior management.
Recruit, train, manage and evaluate sales and marketing team members.
Provide regular reports on leads, pipeline, conversions, revenue attribution and marketing ROI.
Ensure advertising, cold calling and customer communications comply with applicable privacy, consent and industry requirements.
Bachelor’s or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
10+ years of sales and marketing experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
Demonstrated experience managing both digital marketing and sales teams.
Strong knowledge of SEO, content strategy, social media, paid advertising, lead generation and CRM systems.
Experience managing cold-calling teams and warm-lead conversion processes.
Strong commercial understanding with the ability to connect marketing activity to revenue.
Experience working across multiple businesses, products or customer segments.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and project-management skills.
Experience marketing to Australian or international customers will be highly regarded.
Exposure to professional services, accounting, SaaS, technology, education or financial services would be advantageous.
