Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed fabrication and GA (General Arrangement) drawings for Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Heat Exchangers, and Columns based on process/design inputs.
- Check and verify drawings prepared by junior draftsmen for accuracy, completeness, and conformity to design codes and client specifications.
- Develop shell, dish end, nozzle, saddle/skirt, and internal component drawings with correct dimensioning, tolerances, and welding details.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM), cutting lists, and part drawings for fabrication and procurement.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and standards (ASME Section VIII Div. 1/2, TEMA, IS 2825, PED, etc.) as required.
- Coordinate with design engineers, production, and QC teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and incorporate design changes/revisions.
- Guide and mentor junior draftsmen in drafting standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong domain experience in Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Heat Exchangers (Shell & Tube), and Columns/Towers.
- Proven ability to independently check and cross-verify drawings for correctness before release.
Pay: ₹16,466.72 - ₹58,407.93 per month
