We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in both B2B and B2C travel markets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the travel industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new Sales Lead, B2B partners, corporate clients, travel agents, and retail customers.
- Expand the company's customer base through networking, referrals, digital leads, and strategic partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to maximize repeat business.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Ensure the team follows company sales processes and customer service standards.
Sales Operations
- Oversee travel quotations, proposals, and package pricing.
- Ensure timely follow-up of all customer enquiries and leads.
- Monitor conversion rates and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless tour execution.
- Resolve customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Forecast sales and revenue accurately.
- Monitor KPIs such as revenue, bookings, lead conversion, average booking value, and customer retention.
- Recommend promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to increase business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Tours & Travel industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Manager or Team Leader role.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international holiday packages.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C travel sales.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve ambitious sales targets.
