Responsible for maintenance, inspection, and performance of heavy vehicles and equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders, and buses to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of heavy vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Ensure vehicle compliance (fitness, PUC, insurance)
- Monitor equipment uptime and reduce breakdowns
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs and spare parts
- Maintain basic maintenance records and reports
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- 3–8 years experience in heavy vehicle or equipment maintenance
Skills
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
