Assigned territory covering schools, junior colleges, degree colleges, polytechnics, coaching classes, career counsellors and student communities.
Job Purpose
The FOS Admissions Sales Professional is responsible for generating student admissions leads through field outreach and converting those leads into applications, enrolments and confirmed admissions.
The position involves extensive field activity, relationship building and direct engagement with students, parents, schools, colleges, coaching institutes, admission counsellors and other student-influencing stakeholders.
The FOS professional will act as the face of the University in the assigned territory and will be responsible for achieving defined lead-generation, application and admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Territory Development
- Develop a database of schools, junior colleges, degree colleges, polytechnics and coaching classes in the assigned territory.
- Identify high-potential institutions and student clusters.
- Segment institutions into A, B and C priority categories.
- Prepare weekly field-visit plans.
- Map competitors and alternative institutions in the territory.
2. Student Lead Generation
Generate qualified student leads through:
- College/school visits
- Career guidance sessions
- Seminars and presentations
- Campus awareness campaigns
- Education fairs
- Counselling camps
- Coaching-class partnerships
- Referral networks
- Student ambassador programs
- Parent interaction programs
- Local events and promotional activities
3. Institutional Relationship Management
Build relationships with:
- Principals
- Vice Principals
- Teachers
- Placement/career officers
- Counsellors
- Coaching-class owners
- Admission consultants
- Faculty members
- Student coordinators
The objective is to create a sustainable institution-to-university student pipeline.
4. Student Counselling & Conversion
- Explain university programs, specializations, career pathways, fees, scholarships and admission processes.
- Understand student career aspirations.
- Generate enquiries and applications.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents.
- Coordinate campus visits.
- Track students from Lead → Counselling → Application → Offer → Fee Payment → Admission.
5. Admission Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual admission targets.
- Maintain the required lead-to-application and application-to-admission conversion ratios.
- Prioritize high-probability prospects.
- Follow up systematically with pending applicants.
6. Channel/Partner Development
Identify and develop relationships with:
- Coaching classes
- Career counsellors
- Admission consultants
- Training institutes
- Schools and colleges
- Corporate/community organizations
Where authorized, support the onboarding and management of channel partners.
7. Events & Outreach
Participate in and organize:
- Career counselling seminars
- College presentations
- School outreach
- Open houses
- Education fairs
- Admission drives
- Scholarship campaigns
- Parent-student interaction programs
8. CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of:
- Institutions visited
- Contacts established
- Student enquiries
- Leads generated
- Counselling completed
- Applications received
- Campus visits
- Offers made
- Admissions confirmed
- Follow-ups pending
- Lost leads and reasons
Submit daily activity reports and weekly performance reports.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
