We are looking for a powerhouse Category Manager who can wear two hats: a creative strategist who builds brand love, and a sharp commercial leader who knocks on doors, closes sales, and drives revenue.

This is a 360-degree management role. You will not just sit behind a desk designing marketing campaigns; you will also be out in the field ensuring our products are listed, stocked, and selling out. You will own the entire lifecycle of our oral care line—from brand positioning and advertising to distributor management and retail sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Part 1: Sales & Commercial Execution (50%)
- Drive Revenue Growth: Own the sales volume and value targets for the toothpaste and toothbrush categories across assigned territories/channels.
- Key Account & Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail chains (Modern Trade), wholesalers, and distributors (Traditional Trade). Negotiate margins, shelf space, and primary/secondary sales.
- On-Field Execution: Regularly visit markets to audit stock availability, check competitor pricing, and ensure retail partners are pushing our products.
- Stock & Supply Chain Coordination: Forecast demand accurately to ensure distributors never run out of stock, especially during heavy promotional periods.
Part 2: Branding & Trade Marketing (50%)
- Brand Strategy & Campaigns: Develop the brand identity, positioning, and messaging for our oral care products. Design and execute digital, social media, and local BTL (Below-The-Line) marketing activities.
- In-Store Marketing (Visual Merchandising): Design and deploy high-impact Point of Sale Materials (POSM), such as display racks, end-caps, and banners, to ensure our products stand out in crowded aisles.
- Consumer Promotions: Create aggressive consumer-facing offers (e.g., "Buy a Toothpaste, Get a Toothbrush Free", family packs) that drive impulse buying at the shelf.
- Product Launch (NPD): Introduce new variants (e.g., herbal toothpaste, bamboo toothbrushes) to the market, managing everything from packaging design to retail launch.
Requirements:
- Experience: 9–10 years of dual experience in FMCG Sales (Key Account/Distributor Sales) AND Brand/Trade Marketing.
- Industry Background: Direct experience in Personal Care, Oral Care, or Cosmetics is highly preferred.
- Skillset: A unique blend of creative marketing skills and aggressive sales negotiation skills.
- Data & P&L Ownership: Comfortable managing a budget, setting prices, calculating trade margins, and tracking ROI on marketing spend.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel for market visits and client meetings as required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
