Job Description
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash position reporting, ensuring sufficient funds to meet organizational needs. • Handle banking relationships—opening/closing accounts, managing mandates and signatories, and negotiating terms. • Administer corporate credit cards, inter-office payments, and monitor FX exposures, collaborating with risk and compliance teams. • Ensure compliance with controls and policies, including SOX and internal procedures, while improving treasury workflows. • As a front-line manager, supervise the day-to-day activities of tax and treasury staff—setting objectives, delivering feedback, and ensuring performance alignment. • Provide training, coaching, and development, fostering a high-performing and compliant team environment. • Coordinate closely across finance-related functions like AP/AR, accounting, legal, and controls to drive efficient operations. • Implement internal control frameworks to safeguard tax and treasury operations—ensuring accuracy and mitigating exposure to error or fraud. • Conduct risk assessments, especially around liquidity, FX, and compliance, and develop strategies to address them. • Support policy development, including SLAs and performance metrics, promoting consistency and accountability. • Contribute to tax strategy—identifying optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance. • Generate and present performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management or the board. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives—streamlining processes, enhancing controls, and supporting system implementations.
