Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Automation testing, API Testing, IoT/device integration, and hardware-connected applications.
The role involves testing end-to-end workflows across IoT devices, cameras, sensors, access-control systems, APIs, backend systems, web dashboards, mobile apps, and kiosks within a logistics/industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test integration between IoT devices, sensors, cameras, RFID, scanners, access-control and measurement systems.
- Validate device-generated data from capture → API → backend → database → web/mobile/kiosk.
- Test logistics workflows such as vehicle entry/exit, gate management, weighment, material movement, loading/unloading and dispatch.
- Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
- Design and execute API test cases using Postman, Swagger or similar tools.
- Test device failure scenarios including offline devices, delayed/missing data, duplicate events and reconnection.
- Test Android/iOS applications, web dashboards and kiosk interfaces.
- Support UAT and pre-go-live testing.
- Perform basic performance/load testing; JMeter experience is preferred.
- Log, track and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, IoT/device engineers and business teams to troubleshoot issues across hardware, network, API and application layers.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of QA/testing experience.
- Strong Manual & Functional Testing experience.
- Hands-on API Testing experience.
- Experience with web and mobile application testing.
- Good knowledge of test case design and regression testing.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Understanding of integration and end-to-end testing.
Preferred Skills
- Industrial IoT / IIoT / Hardware Integration Testing
- Logistics, warehouse, manufacturing or industrial automation experience.
- Experience with sensors, cameras, RFID, access control, IoT gateways or measurement devices.
- Selenium or other automation experience.
- JMeter or similar performance testing experience.
- Exposure to real-time/event-driven systems.
