Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process, maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring that materials are delivered on time while meeting quality standards and company budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Identify purchasing needs based on production or departmental requirements.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Source materials, equipment, and services from reliable suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods to avoid production delays.
- Vendor Management
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Compare quotations and select the best suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
- Price Negotiation
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Obtain the best value while maintaining quality standards.
- Achieve cost savings through effective negotiations.
- Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with the store and inventory teams.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Plan purchases based on inventory reports.
- Documentation
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, invoices, and contracts.
- Ensure all procurement documents are accurate and properly filed.
- Prepare procurement reports for management.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders.
- Follow company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
- Coordination
- Work closely with production, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries.
- Resolve supply-related issues promptly.

- MBA or Diploma in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years for Junior Purchase Executive.
- 3–7 years for Purchase Executive.
- 7+ years for Senior Purchase Executive.
