Logistic Head will be responsible for the overall supply chain management. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
- Experienced in Operations & Business Development with a history of experience in the Logistics, Supply Chain and Transportation Industry
- Professionally skilled in Research, Customer Relationship, Team Management, Crisis Management and Customer Service.
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand.
- Have industry contacts that could lead to new projects.
- The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
- This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
- Should have a proven track record of achieving B2B targets.
- Association with other corporate institutions across Bangalore to ensure walk-ins, to be able to secure new projects as per assigned targets.
- Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition.
- Responsible to lead business development efforts for our Product and Services
- Lead the complete cycle of business acquisition, service delivery and business expansion at the client
- Achieve predetermined targets while contributing towards team's overall deliverables
- Effectively and efficiently generate new business and leads
- Identification of prospective clients and convert them into Bigtruck trusted partners
- Strategise and design account plan to present to the clients tailormade solutions, with appropriate business mix and ensure the targeted profitability for each account within the permissible credit limit
- Working with the Core Development Product team for developing and customising the products that fits the Client requirements
- Work with Operations and Finance team to ensure service delivery to customers in time
- Ensure trusted client relationships in order to have a huge base of active and growing customers
- Consistently work on having different strategies for more and more customer acquisition and create new products/services to be the ultimate solution provider for logistics needs
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in client engagement and internal stakeholder management with proper business conduct
- Drive continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of systems and processes.
- Partner effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver effective client solutions
- Understanding of appropriate frameworks and guidelines to guarantee that business is carried out in line with the organisation's overall risk management policy and ensure it operates effectively.
Industry - Logistics / Supply Chain /Transportation
Work Experience -Business Development experience (prefer a minimum of 6 years) in the Logistics industry with a successful track record of building relationships.
Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA will be an added advantage.
