Job Summary
Are you a media sales strategist who knows how to turn airtime into prime-time revenue. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Ad Sales Manager to spearhead our advertising revenue growth across the regional market.
In this role, you will be the face of our cable channel portfolio to regional brands, local businesses, and media agencies. You will blend strategic market analysis with relentless execution to exceed ad sales targets, lead a high-performing local team, and unlock new monetization opportunities in the regional television landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Target Achievement: Own and consistently exceed the regional ad sales revenue targets. Develop and execute hyper-local sales strategies to maximize commercial airtime inventory utilization.
Client & Agency Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with regional advertising agencies, media buyers, and direct corporate clients.
Custom Brand Solutions: Collaborate with the programming, production, and creative teams to conceptualize and sell high-impact brand integrations, local event sponsorships, and customized advertiser solutions.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales executives. Set clear KPIs, monitor daily sales activities, and provide ongoing pipeline coaching.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of regional market trends, local economic shifts, competitor activities, and evolving client budgets to proactively capture new business.
Inventory & Yield Management: Maintain a robust, accurate sales pipeline. Work closely with the Traffic and Scheduling team to ensure seamless ad placement and optimal spot pricing.
Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts, market feedback, and performance reports to the national leadership team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field. (An MBA is a plus).
Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience in media sales, with at least 3+ years specifically in television or cable ad sales .
Network: An active, established network of regional clients, direct advertisers, and media buying agencies within the assigned territory.
Track Record: A documented history of consistently hitting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas and driving year-over-year growth.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
