Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook daily meals for staff as per menu plan
- Ensure food is prepared in a hygienic and safe manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages
- Handle basic food preparation (cutting, cleaning, marination, etc.)
- Follow company standards for food quality and presentation
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food
- Assist in menu planning if required
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook (hotel, restaurant, or staff kitchen preferred)
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine (South/North Indian preferred)
- Ability to cook in bulk quantities
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
- Team player with good time management skills
