About the Role
We are on the lookout for a seasoned and strategically driven Regional Manager to lead and expand our market team in Maharashtra and Western India the electrical industry. This is a high-impact role demanding deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building with electrical consultants and contractors, distributor, dealers and the maturity to independently drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, long-term business relationships with electrical consultants, contractors, EPC companies, distributor, dealers and project developers across the region.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans specifically tailored to the electrical industry ecosystem.
- Identify new project opportunities, tender requirements, and specifications in the electrical sector and convert them into revenue.
- Engage with consultants to get products approved and specified in projects.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2–3 marketing executives, driving performance through structured coaching and goal setting.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and client meetings with confidence and professional maturity.
- Prepare regular market intelligence reports, sales forecasts, and competitor analysis for senior management.
- Track and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets aligned with company growth objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of hands-on marketing/sales experience exclusively in the electrical industry (wires & cables, switches, switch gears, electrical panels, transformers, or related products).
- Proven track record of engaging and closing business with electrical consultants, contractors, and project procurement teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a marketing team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of professional maturity and integrity— able to handle complex client relationships, negotiate effectively, and represent the brand with authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language; confident presenter and negotiator.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong network within the electrical industry ecosystem in the region is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office platforms.
