We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales organization, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and cultivating key client relationships. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record of scaling sales operations and consistently hitting revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and expand the customer base.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Establish clear performance metrics, KPIs, and quotas, while fostering a culture of accountability and success.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels to maximize profitability.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales funnel—from lead generation to closing—ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and high conversion rates.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with high-value clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to optimize sales processes and refine the company’s value proposition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, improve lead quality, and ensure a seamless customer journey.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role (preferably within our industry/vertical).
- Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding organizational sales goals and successfully scaling revenue.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Communication: Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics software to drive decisions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
