- Position: Milling Operator
- Experience: Minimum 1- 5 Years
- Qualification: ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and set up milling machines.
- Set the cutting tools and machine before starting the job.
- Read basic engineering drawings.
- Load and unload raw materials.
- Check the machine while it is running to make sure the parts are produced correctly.
- Inspect finished parts using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
- Make sure all parts are as per the drawing and quality standards.
- Clean the machine and carry out basic machine maintenance.
- Replace worn-out tools or inform the supervisor if there is any machine problem.
- Follow all safety rules and wear the required safety equipment while working.
- Basic knowledge of CNC milling machines and program editing is an added advantage.
- Record daily production details and machine-related information.
- Work with the production and quality teams to complete daily production targets.
Skills Required
- Experience in operating conventional or CNC milling machines.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good attention to quality.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work as a team.
