Job Summary
The Accounts Head is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow and financial position of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 8–15 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
