Job Description – Junior WordPress Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WordPress websites based on project requirements
Work with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to build flexible, dynamic websites
Build and customize websites using page builders such as Salient Theme, Elementor, and WPBakery
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress websites
Assist in building headless WordPress implementations
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Work on eCommerce websites using WooCommerce
Support development of membership, subscription, and custom WordPress solutions
Implement frontend functionality using JavaScript and jQuery
Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness
Debug issues and perform basic troubleshooting
Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
Requirements:
0–2 years of experience in WordPress development
Strong understanding of WordPress CMS and theme structure
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for frontend functionality
Experience working with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Salient, etc.)
Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Understanding of responsive design principles
Basic knowledge of Git/version control is preferred
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new technologies and best practices
Good to Have:
Experience with WooCommerce development
Knowledge of headless WordPress (REST API / GraphQL)
Basic understanding of website performance optimization
Experience with membership or subscription-based websites
Familiarity with SEO best practices
Basic understanding of hosting environments and deployments
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
