Position:
General Manager – Banking Relations, Corporate Credit & Fleet Finance.
Location: Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Reporting To: Director / Business Head
Job Purpose
To manage all banking relationships, arrange financing for fleet expansion, secure working capital and other credit facilities, optimize borrowing costs, and oversee the company's day-to-day banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Financing & Credit Management
- Arrange financing for the purchase of new trucks, trailers, and transport equipment.
- Maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, and vehicle financiers.
- Negotiate competitive interest rates, repayment terms, and credit structures.
- Evaluate various funding options including term loans, lease financing, and refinancing.
- Ensure timely sanction and disbursement of vehicle loans.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage all banking operations of the company.
- Handle multiple banking relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
- Monitor cash flow, fund requirements, and banking limits.
- Optimize utilization of credit facilities and banking products.
- Manage fixed deposits, bank guarantees, LC facilities, and other banking instruments.
Working Capital & Corporate Finance
- Arrange and renew working capital facilities.
- Prepare credit proposals, CMA data, financial projections, and loan applications.
- Coordinate with banks for sanction, renewal, enhancement, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor loan covenants and ensure adherence to banking conditions.
Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment
- Assess funding requirements and debt-servicing capability.
- Analyze lending terms and financing structures.
- Manage credit exposure and financial risk associated with borrowings.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure proper maintenance of all loan and banking documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and financial institutions.
- Monitor repayment schedules and maintain a strong credit profile for the company.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- MBA (Finance), CA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent finance qualification preferred.
Experience
- 8-15 years of experience in Banking/Credit.
- Minimum 5 years handling Commercial Vehicle Finance portfolios.
- Experience as Credit Manager, Relationship Manager - Commercial Vehicles, Corporate Banking Manager, or similar role in a reputed bank.
- Strong network with banks, NBFCs, and vehicle finance companies.
