Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced offshore technical support resource to support AS400-based JDA MMS (Merchandise Management System) environment. The resource will provide application and operational support, assist with issue resolution, and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for AS400 JDA MMS applications
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, including batch jobs, interfaces, and data errors
- Support daily operational activities (jobs, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Assist with defect fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration changes
- Collaborate with onshore teams, business users, and vendors
- Create/update technical documentation and support artifacts
- Support testing efforts for patches, upgrades, and fixes
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with JDA MMS on AS400
- Solid IBM i / AS400 knowledge (DB2, job monitoring, system utilities)
- Experience with RPG / CL (read/debug level; development a plus)
- Understanding of retail merchandising processes (items, pricing, inventory)
- Experience supporting batch processing and interfaces
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting JDA in a retail enterprise environment
- Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models
- Familiarity with change management and ITIL-based support processes
- Proficiency with L-series tools
