Life Care Polyclinic & Homecare Services is a multidisciplinary healthcare center committed to providing quality, ethical, and patient-centric medical services. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Radiologist to provide diagnostic imaging consultation and reporting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including:
- Ultrasound (Abdominal, Pelvic, Obstetric, Small Parts, Doppler, etc.)
- X-Ray reporting
- Other radiological investigations as available at the clinic.
- Issue timely, accurate, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and recommend further investigations where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with the latest medical guidelines, radiation safety protocols, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with referring physicians and specialists regarding patient management.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and clinical audit activities as required.
- Attend patients during scheduled OPD hours or on-call appointments as mutually agreed.
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis (Radiology) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council.
- Minimum 1–3 years of post-qualification experience preferred.
- Fresh specialists with strong academic credentials may also apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills Required
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging interpretation.
- Proficiency in ultrasound procedures.
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional ethics and patient-centered approach.
Compensation
- Revenue Sharing Basis as mutually agreed between the Consultant and Life Care Polyclinic & Homecare Services.
- Payment shall be based on the agreed percentage of professional fees generated from radiology consultations, ultrasound examinations, reporting, and other imaging services.
- No fixed salary unless separately agreed in writing.
Working Schedule
- Flexible visiting hours as per prior schedule.
- On-call availability for emergency reporting, if mutually agreed.
Documents Required
- Updated Resume/CV.
- MBBS Degree.
- MD/DNB Radiodiagnosis Certificate.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
- Aadhaar Card/PAN Card.
- Recent Passport Size Photograph.
- Experience Certificates (if applicable).
Professional Conduct
The Consultant Radiologist shall:
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to applicable laws, medical ethics, and clinic policies.
- Deliver reports within the agreed turnaround time.
- Treat all patients and staff with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
- Report any medico-legal case immediately to the clinic administration.
Nature of Engagement
This engagement is purely on a Consultancy and Revenue Sharing Basis and does not create an employer-employee relationship. The Consultant shall function as an independent medical professional and shall comply with all applicable statutory and professional obligations.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,281.56 per hour
