About the Role
Global Media Marketing & Communications Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the areas of Corporate Events, Government Projects, Branding, and Digital/Social Media Marketing.
The ideal candidate should have a strong corporate network, proven experience in generating leads independently, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, branding, and digital/social media services.
- Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings and deliver impactful business presentations and proposals.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and commercial documents.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution after client onboarding.
- Onboard new clients and maintain long-term relationships for repeat business.
- Work closely with the event, creative, and digital marketing teams to develop client solutions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and business development pipelines.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Client Acquisition.
- Proven experience in independently generating leads and converting them into business.
- Strong existing network and relationships within the corporate sector.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience selling event management, branding, advertising, media, digital marketing, or related services will be preferred.
- Ability to prepare and deliver professional client presentations.
- Strong client relationship management and account handling skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Preferred Candidate
- Existing contacts with corporate decision-makers, HR teams, marketing departments, procurement teams, or CSR teams.
- Experience handling high-value corporate clients.
- Strong negotiation and business closure skills.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
