Destinare Services is hiring an experienced Senior Rust Backend Engineer for one of our global clients.
As a Senior Rust Backend Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services using Rust. You will work with distributed engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and cloud-native backend systems deployed in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Rust
- Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
- Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability
- Develop secure APIs with authentication and authorization
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams
- Follow CI/CD and DevOps best practices
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of production Rust backend development
- Strong understanding of Rust ownership, borrowing, concurrency, and memory safety
- Experience with Rust frameworks such as Actix-Web, Axum, or Rocket
- Experience building Microservices
- Strong REST API development experience
- Distributed systems architecture
- PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
- Redis or caching technologies
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Tokio
- Kafka or RabbitMQ
