Job Summary
The Liaison Officer is responsible for coordinating with government departments, regulatory authorities, local bodies, and external agencies to obtain statutory approvals, licenses, permits, and clearances. The role ensures timely compliance with legal requirements and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with government departments, municipal authorities, RTO, labor office, pollution control board, electricity department, and other statutory authorities.
- Obtain and renew licenses, registrations, approvals, NOCs, and permits as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments for statutory documentation and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with government officials and external agencies.
- Track the status of applications and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare and submit applications, letters, and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of licenses, approvals, and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government rules and regulations.
- Support project teams in obtaining approvals for new projects or business operations.
- Represent the company during meetings with government authorities and external stakeholders.
- Submit periodic status reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA or Law preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in liaisoning with government departments.
- Experience in manufacturing, automobile, infrastructure, construction, or real estate is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of government procedures and statutory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
